Good Vibes – Activated Charcoal Face Scrub Review

Hey loves! I’m finally doing another review. This time it’s a review on Charcoal Face Scrub by Good Vibes.

Good Vibes is a brand which is exclusively sold on http://www.purplle.com. They have a wide range of products from essential oils to body mists to lotions and all these at a really affordable price! I’m actually glad I found out about this brand.

Let’s dive into the review!

What it claims:

  • No paraben, no sulphates.
  • Cruelty free
  • Purifies and cleanses the skin by drawing out all the dirt, impurities and bacteria.
  • Helps to achieve flawless complexion
  • Fights acne

Net weight: 50g

Price: ₹195

My experience:

So this was my first ever charcoal face scrub. I really wanted a charcoal face scrub because as a student I’m out almost everyday and prone to pollution outside.

And this particular face scrub was at a very reasonable price, so I had to get it.

The texture:

As every other face scrub, it is thick and granular. Although it doesn’t seem to spread out evenly on the skin. I used my hands to apply it, and almost 2 coats are needed for even application.

After the application I left it on my face for 10-15 mins.

It’s kind of difficult to wash it off as it really gets into the skin. But once it’s off, it leaves a subtle glow to my face. Which is what matters right?

Although I wouldn’t recommend it for people with oily skin type. As it leaves your face a little bit sticky and oily. So this is good for people with dry skin.

The smell:

It doesn’t exactly have a pleasant but it’s not bad either.

Pros

  • Glowy skin
  • Skin feels smooth (For dry skin types)
  • Lives upto it’s price

Cons:

  • Hard to wash it off
  • Not recommended for oily skin

Ratings: 3.5/5

And that’s about it for today’s post, I hope you liked it!

As always,

Thank you so much for reading!❤️

Until then,

Be Flawsome xx
