Aroma Magic’s sunblock lotion review.

Hello loves! Hope you’re all well
I’m back with another review. This time it’s a review on Aroma magic’s sunblock lotion.
Sunscreens are very crucial for people heading out in the sun everyday. They protect your face from the harmful rays of sun.
It’s also important to opt for sunscreens which have higher spf which is the Sun Protection Factor. I googled a bit about spf and found that Spf 50 blocks 98% of the sun’s rays while Spf 30 blocks 93%
Sunscreens do not completely shield your face from the UV rays, but they do block the rays a bit enough to not cause a lot of damage to you skin.

So moving on with the review,
(Please ignore the henna on my hand! Hehe)

Packaging:
This lotion comes in a medium sized yellow tube. With drawings on it. It’s pretty cute.
What it claims:

  • 100% free of oxybenzone, paraben and harsh chemicals, alcohol and artificial fragrance.
  • Non greasy
  • Contains carrotseed, wheatgerm and jojoba oils.
  • Notes of helichrysum, calendula and roman chamomile essential oils mattifies skin
  • Green tea extracts provide smart sun protection.

How I use:
As I’m a college going student, and the place where I live is absolutely sunny and hot almost all year round sunscreen is very essential for me.
I take a small amount of it and apply it on areas which are exposed to the sun which is only my face and arms.
I also mix this sunscreen with my moisturizer because this lotion leaves my skin super dry.

My experience:
So this sunscreen says that it has properties that “mattify” your skin and I think those properties cause my skin to turn dry.
As I already have dry skin, and this mattifies it even more, I’m not a huge fan of this.
Does not glide very well over the skin. But this could be because of my dry skin. This provides spf 30 protection which is good.

Would I recommend?
I would not recommend this for people with dry skin. Or if you have breakouts.
I would rate it a 2/5
Hope this helped!
Thanks for reading,
Until then,
Be Flawsome xx
